I am Nancy's sister and your story is so characteristic of her. Thank you for your memory of her life's work at Dart's Mill. It is good that someone remembers her and that work.

Hi Ruth Ann,
Your quote today reminded me of a story about my friend and colleague Nancy Garland Keep, who was a wonderful teacher and an inspirational leader of a truly amazing child care center,The Dart's Mill Day Care Center in Flemington, New Jersey, for more than 25 years. She was traveling around Hawaii in the car with her granddaughter Alexandra. They both were struck by the beauty of a large rainbow and Alexandra wanted to know where the end of it was. (I assume to find the pot of gold!) They drove all around the island chasing after this rainbow. I am sure that they had a lot of fun and saw many wonderful things in this adventure. And what a gift she gave her granddaughter with the chance to marvel in the wonder of the rainbow and the beauty that it can bring to life.
Thanks for triggering that lovely memory of a cherished friend.
