Eye Didn’t Get Special Treatment

When the eye-mergency came up earlier this week, we called around to see if anyone could recommend a doctor or hospital. We left messages for a several people, but we took the advice of staff membersat the place we’re stayinghere in Utah and went to the Moran Eye Center. See previous post for report of first-class treatment.

One of the people we called for a recommendation got back to us after we had already left for the hospital. He had a local contact. If we had called that guy, we would have assumed ourroyal experience had been greased.

It must be very gratifying to that guy – who happens to be John A. Moran – to know that EVERYBODY, even out-of-town schlubs off the street like us, get treated so well where his name is in big letters on the building.

That philanthropist can be very proud of the return on his investment in people, place, and things.
