Day 82
I am taking a deep breath and learning to be more flexible in my commitments to myself.
I am choosing to enjoy my moments, listen to my body, and do what I want instead of what I told myself I wanted at a different time.
It is really difficult, but I think this might be the kind of discomfort I need to feel in order to go deeper into the experience of stripping away numbing behaviors and transparent beliefs.
This is not the post I wanted to write today, but it’s the one I felt.

Honesty is the best policy! Honesty and true to yourself. I remember this saying in the 60′s! It’s how many of us today chose our professions, vocations, or followed our passions.
Ruthie, you are making the ‘full circle.’ Funny, how life brings us back to our beginnings.
So glad you wrote what you felt.

Enjoying your moments, listening to your body and doing what you want sounds like relaxation and peace to me. You're learning to chill…. ; ) You live in the perfect place to do that, you know? Take it all in Ruth Ann, and give yourself permission to do anything, something or nothing. You have earned it! You don't always have to be doing something "constructive" to really be doing something constructive. Just breathing in sweet salt air and watching the sun set in the ocean can be pretty constructive for the body, mind and spirit. : )
