Day 141
I’ve mentioned that I was at a coaching conference in New Mexico last week and that I had a rare in-person session with my own coach, Renee Freedman.
Renee was excited to see this photograph in the room where we met.
“I love that photograph,” she said. We couldn’t find the photographer’s name, or I’d certainly give credit and copyright.
“We usually think of the front of the flower as the beautiful side, the one we expect to see in an art photograph. Here is another beautiful side, beautiful even though it gets less attention. It’s a very strong and intricate support system for the flower,” said Renee.
What an apropos observation at a coaching conference, where most of the attendees were both part of the intricate support system of others, and most probably rely on a pretty intricate support system themeselves.
I smiled, thinking it was perfect for Renee to make this observation, as she’s been such an important part of the intricate unseen support system that helps me stay upright, facing the sun.
